Awesome Animals! is a blog of student video projects, maintained by Biology faculty at the University of North Carolina Asheville. This project was initiated in 2014 by Becca Hale, UNC Asheville Professor of Biology, and Mark Ussery, then the Media Coordinator at Weaverville Primary School. In 2022, the project is supported by Becca Hale at UNC Asheville and by Mr. Lee Jamison, Media Coordinator, and Mr. Jason Powell, first grade teacher at Weaverville Primary School.
